Guest guest
Hi! My son who is now 6 was taken off the spectrum 8 months ago. He still has bad days though. His language is behind and his processing of language is slow at times. We have been on the diet since last August but only seriously since January. I feel like it has helped his leakey gut issues. The diet is a pain ( I have 3 other children who have learned the art of hiding to eat chocolate) but we are staying on it. My regret is that I didn't start earlier in his life. A mothers guilt never ends... Leigh
Guest guest
Leigh: Don't feel guilty. You are a wonderful mother, your child is off the spectrum and still on the diet. You did a wonderful thing for your child, even though you won't get certain services, you know where your child is going in life and how he will get there. He will get there because of you and all that you do. We can only take one day at a time and no more. Life is difficult enough without being hard on yourself.
