Guest guest
Hello, again, Elaine I am going to see my doctor about switching to Levothyroxine on Tuesday. I think I will have to suggest what dose I should take to continue on with BRT. Also, I asked in my previous posting whether I needed to slowly wean from Armour or if I can just substitute one for the other. Even though I have said that I would discontinue BRT if my TSI was unaffected by my treatment, I am getting the impression from your input that you think it would be okay for me to continue BRT using Levothyroxine. I respect your opinions on all of these questions so much that I am going to act on your suggestion. (I still haven't gotten over the shock of seeing that the TSI had skyrocketed to 730%. Your idea that it is the Armour seems the right idea of what is going on. As I indicated previously, I have not been overindulging in iodine and my stress level is low. (The question of estrogen levels can only be answered that I am not taking any estrogen replacement nor taking any supplements that have estrogen- like properties. Whether my body, even though I am in menopause, continues to produce excess estrogen, I cannot answer. When I have my mercury levels checked, should I ask for my estrogen level to be checked, too?) Thank you.
