Guest guest
Hi , Is it possible you're hypothyroid? My very regular period has changed right along with my thyroid levels since I developed Graves' and then started treatment, with much farther apart periods while I was hyper and periods at two-week intervals with tremendous cramps and flooding while I was hypo. When I became less hypo, they went to 21 days apart. and I was able to argue to my endo that I was still hypo, despite OK lab values, based on my periods still being too close together. Do you ovulate? It almost sounds like there'd be no time. There are tricks to stimulate ovulation, like sleeping with a dim light for three days midcycle and in darkness the rest of the time. I'm not sure if you;d have any look in a two-week time frame, though. Certainly getting your mineral balances right would help. Can you get blood tests done to check? Personally I'd try other means before taking the pill, as I attribute the old (stronger, 1970s) birth control pill with making me hypo to begin with. Bet wishes, B.
