I want to thank people for their response. I am the one who

originally posted. I think vaccine issues are linked to the diet.

If I understand A. Wakefield correctly is our kids already have a pre-

determined problem with their gut and their ability to deal with food

containing gluten and dairy and possible other food grps.

My understanding is the theory by Wakefield talks about that certain

vaccines (especially the MMR) can make this even worse particularly

when multi vaccines are given together possibly triggering full

Autism ( which usually happens between ages (1 and 2).

I have an opinnion like Wakefield that we should give vaccines but we

should be careful and space them out.

All my other kids are fully vaccinated. So I am big preventation

believer. I no longer believe however our government agencies has

been forthright with us. I also believe lots of folks on committees

have dual interests in the FDA etc.

I only meant to ask how people deal with vaccinations with their

children after the diagnosis of Autism and share how I was dealing

with this with my 2 yoa

I did not mean for tenor of the conversation to get so tense.

Obviously I have no answers and that is why I posted and this is a

hot topic for others as well. There are no easy answers for us.

An interesting aside, both my older kids have had chickenpox vaccines

and have since then they both periodically get strange rashes that

look like chicken pox. So who knows? Is it vaccines related, food

related, autism related- don't know.

Chicken pox even after you get it lives dormant around your spinal

cord and in later life can become Shingles. Most folks get Shingles

on their flank or their back. I wonder if the same happens with the

vaccine? Are we more prone to this if we get the disase versus the

vaccination? Don't know that either and it is not covered in the

brochure.

PS I am nurse. I really feel like our medical agencies and

government has failed us in researching vaccines, and in dealing with

Autism, and treatments, and funding for us.

Thanks again

Have you read this?

www.hriptc.org/MetalMetabolism_and_autism.htm

It talks about a defective protein and its connection with autism.

The protein MT has been studied for a long time. Perhaps the

important link here is that its production can be halted or

diminished by environmental insult - and that's what a big hit of

mercury is, or the other introduced viruses, metals, and various

chemicals delivered regularly into the systems of little children.

The more medically inclined autism lists (great for insomiacs) have

been delving into MT for some time now. It's a fascinating piece of

the puzzle and one more reason to check out our kids' toxicity levels.
