Pam, Can you give me an idea of your excellent nutrition? Amy is doing well, but is tired a lot, and she has been using protein drinks that are soy based. Hmmm. Just wanting to help the process of healing/remission. Amy's Pam

I've been looking at lactose-free protein drinks to slip into shakes once school starts but I'm a bit leery even though my kids are all fine - all of them have 150 mcg (or whatever the RDA is) of iodine. Could that or other ingredients be a problem? We'll be sticking to yogurt for the protein. Take care, Fay ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Surf the web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER! Guest guest
Hi Amy's Pam, Lillie's , here. Lillie has been drinking a whey-dased protein drink, on the advise of a nutrionist. - Sara
Guest guest
whey was what my nutritionist suggested too... and then I found a rice protein called NutriBiotics that is very good - all organic and made using low temperatures so the product doesn't become a carcinogenic like some powdered protein products. Guest guest
Hi Pam, It's " Jarrow Formulas, American Whey Protein, Ultra-Filtered Powder " . ly, Lillie's gotten pretty sick of it, but she'll drink it once in a while, mixed with a banana and coconut milk ( " lite " from the health food store). The banana seems to be the crucial element in masking the taste. By the way, it seems, comically, as though the last bits of my posts are being cut off by some computer glitch - including the " h " at the end of my name! We'll see if this one makes it through in one piece! - > In a message dated 8/21/2003 1:34:49 PM Central Daylight Time, harcho@a... > writes: > > > Hi Amy's Pam, > > Lillie's , here. > > Lillie has been drinking a whey-dased protein drink, on the advise of > > a nutrionist. > > - Sara > > > > Hi, Sara, > > I'll be responding to your longer email later, but what is the name of the > drink you're using? > > Pam > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been
