Hi Jodie!

We love your shake mix that you make for and I've

finally found a way to make them Dairy Free! We'd been using rice

milk but because it made Olivia's constipation worse she could only

have about one a week so we weren't really getting in many extra

calories.

I bought the No Name frozen Whipped topping, it's dairy free and

has 250cal/C. !

So I use 1C. Whipped topping 250 cal

4 tbsp. Syrup 236 cal

1 tbsp. Lard 115 cal

fruit to taste

Total: 601 cal + fruit

The lard is GROSS but Olivia doesn't like the " feel " of the oils

although I didn't notice any difference, I'm not sure what that's

all about? The oils actually have more caloried than the lard does

but it's only 5-7 cal. difference so it's not a big deal.

Olivia usually only drinks about 1/2 of this but it's still 300

more calories per day than she was getting before!
