Guest guest
Muscle weakness is very common with Graves. I know for me, it got really bad before I got to the doctors. It was all I could do to carry my 1 year old child up the stairs at the time. It would wipe me out. I'd want to rest awhile before taking him back down the stairs. Now that life is back to normal I'm working out again and feeling really pretty strong again. Not as strong as in my 20s but getting there. Hope your MD gets better with Graves treatment - *I* wouldn't be surprised if it went away as you got better. There are a bunch of us on here who took years and years getting diagnosed and being told we had all kinds of other things wrong with us (or nothing wrong at all) and it turned out to be thryoid problems all along.
