I don't know about walmart brand, but I did get confirmation from Safeway

that Safeway Select Very Chocolate Jumbo Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips are GFCF.

They're marked Parve on the bag and they're on the printed list of safeway

brand items that they sent me in the mail. HTH's.

I can buy Guillard (sp?) chips and Seco chocolate chunks at the local

grocers for $2/12oz bag.

I can scan and send you the list that Safeway sent me.. I think it's 3 pages

worth tho if you're up to it.. They only distinguish GF, not CF, but it's

still a helpful list.

This brings an idea to mind. I've started putting together newdiets.com

with recipes contributed by members of this list. It's taking a long time

to get lots of recipes, and maybe like in our family it's partly because

we're often too busy to do more cooking and recipe creating than absolutely

necessary.

On the other hand, what if I were to post the lists of different GFCF brand

items, like what wrote above. We've gotten one of those in the mail

ourselves and have found the results disappointing.

I mean it'd be great to find out about a non-HFS brand of corn flakes that

was safe for our son... and of course that's just an example.

So if people were to send me copies of lists of GFCF brand food items, I'd

offer to post them to the website.
