just as a sidethought -

we used to have a problem with (5.5 yrs old)

getting his haircut. No No No he would often yell

while trying to wiggle out of the chair.

He would also make an attempt at grabbing the scissors.

About a year ago, he began taking antivirals and 8 mths

ago started on a very low dose of Celexa.

Haircuts for the past 6 mths have been a breeze (with the exception

of the blowdryer). He allows the beautician to use scissors

and 2 different electric razors. He only twitches when she gets in

close to even things off (the razor tickles).

Our pediatrician told me this may be due to the 'inflammation'

in his brain going down (I can try and spell this off the top of my

head - encephamyelitis) He explained it as having the flu or a cold

and loud noises cutting right thru you. Made sense.

's blood tests were showing (up to 6 mths ago) very high

herpes (HHV6) infections. HHV6 has been documented

as living in the brain ... Recent blood tests have been very good ..

Just something to consider. He also isn't as sensitive to the vacuum cleaner,

blender, lawn mower or weed wacker.
