Guest guest
hey leah!! what i do with christopher is send in high calorie snacks to school, plus he eats their snacks as well. i send in things like raisins (one little 1 1/2oz box is 130cal!!!), breakfast bars, granola bars, crackers, sometimes fruit snacks(80cal for one of those little pouches), they now make(nabisco) these thin wafer snacks that come in oreo, chip-ahoy, wheat thins, and cheese nips that each pouch which contains 20 wafers is 100cal!!! they also have a fruit snack one that is 100cal. just try to find snacks that are higher in cal, to send in. christophers class all ate snacks when ever he did (teachers choice and sometimes he ate it by him self but in the classroom) (the teachers and aides as well) the teachers all laugh that they all gained 6lbs to christophers 3lb gain the past couple of months!!!! everyone in his class is putting on weight!!! good luck!! jodie c. -- In RSS-Support , " Leah " <littlegemf@h...> wrote: > > Olivia snacks all the time at home and we have it written in her > IEP that she is to have snacks at her desk/table at all times. Guest guest
My favorite high-calorie snack is still a yogurt smoothie. It is easier to get to drink than to eat. I like Yo Baby and Dannon. Be sure to get the full-calorie ones though, not the 'lite'. These drinks have like 300 calories in 8 ounces. Also, La Creme Yogurt cups. Tiny little cups of whipped up yogurt. Many calories. He has also gotten into negotiation. " If you eat two bites of yogurt, you may have a Cheeto. " He loves Cheetos. Another amazingly high calorie item, though not a snack is Marie Calander chicken pot pies. Each of those suckers contains 675 calories! Unfortunately, will not touch them.
