Guest guest
Hi , That's a great weight for Emerence. I just love getting the good news of a weight gain. My son Coby is now 23 months old. He weighs over 20 lbs and is 20 inches long. He had always been very big for having RSS. But he has been diagnosed by his gene here and by Dr. H. Dr. H told us in July that she wanted Coby to start GH. He was only 21 months old at the time. He just started his therapy this week at 23 months old. Just be prepared...it can all happen very quickly. once again Congrats on great doc appts. le, hubby and kids... Guest guest
- great news on the weight! goes back to Mayo Clinic this coming Friday. We too are going to do the UPD 7 blood test. also recently got ear tubes put in! I have to say I am a bit concerned about the upcoming appt. - Dr. H really feels may not be RSS - however, the genetecist really, I believe, is planning to diagnos her RSS. Do I refuse the diagnose or just let it happen if that is what she feels. Part of me thinks, well does it really matter - treatment is no different- but then the other part of me feels that - its these situations that also creates confusion re: RSS for doctors, research, etc. I don't know - just thinking out loud. Anyway - glad to here Emerence is doing well - has just taken 2 to 3 steps on her own this last week! Yes, my peanut - wearing 3-6 month clothes, size 1 (with room to grow into) shoes walking! I love it - so cute. Keep us posted on the blood test results - I will do the same - Jane, mom to katie - 12 months approx 14#, 26 " .
