Has anyone tested their non-autistic children?

Hi, I've been debating this in my mind for some time and thought I'd see if

anyone else has done this. My 7 year old son is autistic and I have a soon

to be 5 year old son, Mike, who's been classified as communication impaired.

He's very bright, social and extremely talkative, however he's sometimes

hard to understand, has trouble staying on topic and a few other things.

Mike's had all his vaccines up to the 5th year (which he's tested immune for

and not getting anyway). I'm wondering if he is possibly mildly affected by

the vaccines/heavy metals and if I should be looking into testing him for

mercury or just giving him some of the supplements my oldest takes. I really

can't afford to lay out another $250 initial visit fee to have my DAN doctor

examine/test him. I'm thinking of doing a challenge with him and saying it's

my oldest one's urine to test. What has anyone else done? Thanks for any

suggestions

> I tested my NT almost 3 year old son. I have an almost 4 year old

daughter that has now recovered from having PDD. (She was undiagnosed

by a pediatric neurologist) I did the Organic Acid Test from Great

plains and the IgG test for food sensitivities. My son had just as

many problems in his gut as my daughter did! His yeast was way

higher! He also had many food sensitivities. I did not much at all

about this. He is not GFCF and has had no Nystatin etc. He is

developmentally ADVANCED! How weird that all this stuff cam effect

one child so much and another not at all. He also had all the same

vaccines she had. -
