Fay,

Maybe you can ask for a TBII test? I think this should also detect any

blocking antibodies.

Thanks and TIA to anyone else who may answer since I won't have

too much computer time over the next few days.

I've mentioned, especially in writing to newbies, that I have a handle on

the basics but that when it comes to more complicated scenarios, and

terms like receptors or blocking antibodies MEGO big time. Guess it's

time to dust off my thinking cap and start learning ;-)

Take care, Fay

Hi Fay,

You are in my thoughts. I hope this is a temporary " thyroid "

problem.

I would check into a TRH-stimulating test. Especially since the TSH

seems hyper and the FT4 seems closer to hypO, I'd wonder if all the

messages are being sent and received accurately between the

pituitary and the thyroid.

(I know I could be way out in left field...but you asked. I know you

will " learn " so much checking the situation out. Keep us informed.)

I wish you good health.

Ever hopeful,

Aj
