Guest guest
Hillary, I just wanted to say thanks for your post on hypoglycemia. Matt does the same thing. He gets very emotional, eyes wide, looks kind of 'crazy' when he needs food. I see it, and his teachers see it, but the doctors still look at me like I am nuts when I describe it. Now, I just have to teach him to eat when he feels that way! Hi to all the new families that have posted recently. You have all found a great bunch of people on this list! Welcome. Guest guest
Hi Beth, The doctors looked at my parents like they were crazy, too. I don't know very much about the physiology of the brain, but it makes sense to me that if being hypoglycemic can make you cranky, why can't it make you anxious too? I don't think my parents ever got the paed. to completely agree with their theory, but luckily, it's not something that you need a doctor's help to take care of - just make sure he eats (which I know is sometimes easier said than done). ~Hillary 22, RSS
