Guest guest
Hello everyone! I need some advice. Abby is 4 yrs. old, weighs 21.2 pounds and is 34 inches tall. I believe we are underweight. However, prior to the diagnosis of RSS Abby's GI doctor said a g- tube was not necessary because she proportionate with height and weight. Now with the diagnosis I feel like Abby is underweight and needs some catch-up growth and to make this possible might be the g- tube. What do you all think?? Abby has been on growth hormones for almost three years with a low response to them. This low response could be due to the lack of cath-up growth. I have moved all of Abby's doctor appointments up to next week from January to address all of this now that we have a diagnosis. Thanks to all of you for all the advice over the last six days. My husband and I are at peace with your help knowing that Abby is going to be okay. --Amy (mom to Abby 4yrs w/ RSS & Tyler 2 3/4 yrs)
