Guest guest
Hi , I'm still floundering with the antibody stuff, but I do know Jody has gotten a dramatic decrease in her TPO levels from taking PTU. Plus there is the bonus of remission, which is probably a natural outcome for many people (yes, our bodies do try to heal themselves if given half a chance). I don't know my antibody picture (hope to find out before I have to stop the PTU!) but I had a similar situation with my TSH, which rose almost immediately after I started PTU and is still around 3 on 100 mg PTU/day (but under control, down to .47 with the Synthroid--what a difference in my " quality of life " ). Best wishes, B. .
Guest guest
Thanks, . So do you think that you are in, or near, remission? Did you try to reduce the PTU and have a problem? (Just wondering about the BRT.)
