When it rains it pours! I hope recovers well and your mother

in law pulls through. Tough surgery but sounds like she is a fighter!

, Thanks, and you are right. She is definitely a fighter. My

husband said she had the fear of God in her eyes when he was with her

and she told him that she didn't want to die. But, was so scared of

what lay before her. Even with her heart racing she fought to stay

alive. It took forever to get her stabilized enough to do surgery,

and they had to keep her at the local hospital here instead of taking

her to Cleveland Clinic where she had the original surgery. Couldn't

even life flight her because she was so bad......but she made er' so

far. Just hoping and praying she can continue to fight this.

And , he's a fighter too. Must be in the blood line! :o) So

far he's doing okay on the J tube. Mommy is more concerned about it

than he is. LOL!

Jodi

I am glad to hear was such a trooper. How much these little

ones have to go through. I hope the J-tube works well and you do

not need to have the other surgery.

Thinking of you and your family.

Jodi R,

We're thinking of you and glad both procedures went well. Glad is such

a trooper and that the emergency surgery went well, too. Between my 2 boys

we've had 5 procedures w/ general anesthesia and zillions of tests. It never

seems to get easier. The last time I was in the waiting room, I had waited on

Willie or Jack for each and every thing any ohter parent was in there for. They

kept moving away from me like our luck was contagious. Hang in there and rest

up. IT takes a toll.

Thanks, Kathy. And you're right. It never gets any easier. I am

just glad that 's part is over for now, and we can move on to

see if this will help the reflux and aspiration. My MIL is doing a

little better. Actually sitting up some and trying to talk. Still

not out of the woods though.
