The best known is called Rescue Remedy, but there are dozens of other (essences of flowers and trees) for specific problems (everything from apathy to anger and all variations of discomfort--crying in the morning, nervousness, etc.). You can get them from a holistic practitioner or at a health food store and just self treat, based on the descriptions of the remedies and your symptoms. Like homeopathics, the remedies are considered too weak to have any physical effect. And although I'm a skeptic, I used several for an extended period of time and felt they helped. (My dentist uses Rescue Remedy before procedures and it's good for kids' accidents, too.) I think these are anxious times, living in a country under various colored alerts.
