Feeding tubes for feeding failure

Hi!

I am at my wit's end...again. Have any of you had a feeding tube

put in for feeding failure? Matt is throwing up again, and

complaining of stomach pain and I know his reflux is bad - BUT, we

are back to force feeding him food. Yelling, threatening, it gets

really ugly. But he chokes it down, gagging the whole time, and

then it is done. Mornings are worse than the rest of the day, but I

am so tired of this constant struggle and fighting about food.

He has a GI appointment next week and I just want to ask about a

feeding tube (Matt is 8 yrs old). Which I know makes reflux worse,

and I don't want a triple procedure, but I want help! This is

ruining my relationship with my son.
