Increased appetite: Hypoglycemic?

I'm a little late to chime in here. My 4y9m old son eats more than I do,

but it is mostly veggies and protein. I actually had a " DAN doctor " tell

me to cut down the amount of veggies he eats. I don't see him any more.

I'm wondering though if my son's desire to eat " all the time " could be

similar to hypoglycemia, the need to fuel the body regularly. I've been

trying to piece the puzzle together. I'm noticing some disruptive,

anxious behavior if he doesn't eat every couple hours....am I missing

something here by looking only for the need to eat every couple hours???

If he eats a little every couple hour or so, he is quite congenial,

conversely, he can become a terror if food is not available when he asks

for food and it is not availlable.

My NT daughter is more like me, if we eat, we eat or if we skip a meal,

we skip a meal; it doesn't seem to make a difference. It is not a

male/female thing, because my husband can also skip a meal and be fine.

Should I be looking in another direction?

I see this uncertainty as the major problem with what we are trying to

do. There is just too much we need to know and not enough expertise

personally or with the AMA types. The email groups have become my major

source of info, where before ' diagnosis I used to be the more

typical AMA/library type.

Progressing with the generous and immense help of this list,
