Guest guest
Hi Everybody, In telling one of my girlfriends about what is going on with me health-wise, it turns out that another friend of hers has Graves' Disease as well and is really struggling with the whole thing. As far as my girlfriend knows, her other friend doesn't have any support or help with a group like this and is very depressed right now, especially over the fact of her increasing hair loss. I'm going to try and call this gal tonight, and encourage her that she can stay on top of this disease and even conquer it, and try to get her to join this yahoo group. My girlfriend really wanted me to ask all of you if there was anything that any of you have found to help slow down, retard, even reverse this hair loss symptom of Graves' Disease. I'm afraid I don't have any info about what treatment this other lady has received to date, or where she is in the progression or remission of Graves'. And I realize that given some of the other far more serious effects this disease can have on our bodies, it might even sound like a silly or inconsequential question; but my girlfriend says this gal is really hurting over this. Any advice or help you can offer I will pass onto her as soon as I speak to her. Thanking you all deeply in advance......

Thanks for sharing it. My hair is slowly growing back now. Well I think it is. I still have some bald spots though. In my case, when I would towel dry my hair, so much hair was in my towel that I had to go outside and shake it out. The drain didn't like it either. Plugged one up. Happy Memorial Day.
