Guest guest
Hi , Congratulations on finding an educated (self-educating?) doctor--sounds like he even has a sense of humor! I would be concerned about dizziness and wonder if that meant it was time to (gradually) decrease your beta blocker. I would ignore the change from losing weight to stabilizing at this point so long as you're eating wisely. When hyper we " burn up " stored nutrients and lose muscle and bone; in my case I lost bone and also 50 points of cholesterol, all of which was the " good (HDL?) variety. So your metabolism in the recent past may not be a good point of comparison. I really envy you walks on the beach. And unlike on my part of the globe, you must be moving into summer. I suppose 20 years from now we'll be able to post little videos our surroundings along with these letters . . . Best wishes, B. > > Hi all, > > I wonder if any of you can shed some light on this... > > I have been taking Propranolol (beta-blockers) since I was diagnosed > with > GD.
