Guest guest
When I saw the bean milk recipe again, it reminded me of this frozen dessert drink made with beans that was posted last year. I do not remember by who. I have not tried it yet myself. ======= Berry Bean Blast weird but good and hi protein 1 can (15 ounces) navy beans or Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed 1 1/2 cups orange juice OR other juice, I like a cranberry mixed juice 2 cups quartered strawberries 2 to 3 tablespoons honey 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg 6 to 8 ice cubes Process all ingredients, except ice cubes, in blender until smooth. Add ice cubes and blend until smooth. Serve in glasses Makes 4 servings (about 6 ounces each) TIPS: Berry Bean Blast can be made 1 to 2 days in advance; refrigerate, covered. The drink will thicken in the refrigerator; stir in orange juice or cold water for desired consistency. Frozen strawberries can be used; if using frozen berries, ice cubes will not be needed.
