Sittin on the fence: TOO LOW now!

Hi again

Can you have a peek at my blood tests and tell me what you think:

Latest blood 9/9/03

FT4 9 (range 10-25)

FT3 3.15 (range 2.5-6.0)

TSh 0.38 (.38-4.00)

This too low score was achieved on 15mg of methomercazoe for 2 weeks.

Previous blood 2 weeks before that:

25/8/03

Ft4 15 (RANGE 10-25)

FT3 5.37 (RANGE 2.5-6.0)

TSh 0.005 (RAGE 0.30-4.00)

I am not due to see endo for another 2 weeks. He's gone overseas and I have

noone to talk to now. My GP is useless.

I decided to have the blood test early because I felt like I was dragging myself

around and surprise surprise it was too low. Thank heavens I didnt wait for

another week.

I have reduced the 15mg to to 7 1/2mg. I am thinking that if my hypo symptoms

dont go away then I will reduce the dose to 2.5 twice daily and have a blood

test next week.

So much for the new thyroidologist!!!!!! I am abandoned again!!!

One other question: how can I get my thyroid levels to go back to a

comfortable level of about a FT4 of 15 (range 10-25)? Would going off the meds

for 24 hours do the trick?????
