Guest guest
What a long morning we've had! Olivia's shoulder is NOT broken thank goodness! It seems that she's dislocated it though, not much we can do for that except for putting it in a sling when it gets very painful for her. As far as tweaking the meds goes we didn't have a whole lot of luck, Mirilax isn't available in Canada but there is an exact substitute for it. The Dr. wouldn't give me a script for it though as something in it worries him, ethelyne or something like that. So for now we're sticking with the Senokot. For the PPI he chose Luprin/Lupron... I can't remember what he said now and I can't read his writing! He said that's what is used for kids and wouldn't give me the Prevacid that I'd asked for. I'm going to wait and see what the Ped. says before I fill the prescription, maybe he'll do the Prevacid for me, now it's just a matter of getting into see him in a timely mannor and also booking the tests to be done. We're just so happy to have a game plan now and if it all works well Olivia will hopefully gain some weight! Take care all, Leah, mom to 9yrs and Olivia 4.75yrs, 18lbs, 33 " , RSS, OI, Lactulose, Senokot, Zantac, Tums, Pamidronate IV infusions
