Guest guest
Hi all, I am unlurking myself here to ask for help. We are just finally starting the 1 month Elimination diet prescribed by our DAN! doctor. I tried to buy substitutes for everything, but when checking recipes, you can't use 100% substitutes! I've got the special flours, the featherweight baking powder, Ener-G egg replacer, honey, stevia and pure maple syrup for sweeteners, almond and cashew butters, and Sharon's homemade rice milk. I have S. and ' books. Also some Bette Hagman books from the library (GF only).Any thoughts? We also can't have yeast, alcohol, citrus fruits, artificial colors, artificial colors or preservatives. So far all he would eat were the Potato Flyers and some carrot sticks at lunch, and he had a banana for breakfast. (Thank goodness we still have our phenolics and salicylates!) He didn't touch the puffed rice, or rice bran cereal, nor the Terra chips, rice cracker, rice-bread and cashew butter sandwich. I want to bake him a treat, any advice? Thanks in advance! ~ -Mom to 3y4m (Mild ASD), and 1y4m
