My son is 6 years old and has been GFCF for 1 year and 1 month. As far as yeast free breads, there is a bread that is yeast free and also GFCF, and if you're eventually going to be going GFCF also maybe it would be wise to start with this bread so that you don't have to keep switching and getting Ben use to one thing and then having to change to another. Anyway the bread is from Deland Bakery in Florida. It is the best bread I have found for this diet (and believe me I tried many). Some of their breads have yeast and others don't. They make so many (bagels, loaves, hotdog,etc.). The one I have here is a zucchini bread - don't let The name scare you off, I don't eat zucchini either, but this bread is delicious. I live in New York and Deland UPS it to my health food store. You can also buy directly from them but then you have to order 24 items at a time and if you don't have a freezer..... The ingredients of the bread are - organic millet flour, zucchini, brocoli, cabbage, carrot, carrot juice, baking powder, sea salt. No preservatives. Its the color of potato bread - that light goldeny yellow color. I use this also mixed with GFCF crackers for my bread crumbs. You can call them at (904)734-7553 and ask if anyone by you carries their bread. As far as making the diet fun, yes it can be, we share alot of recipes on here, so start a folder on your compu and start saving recipes as they're posted or print them out and put them in a binder. Many will help you. I have to keep my little boy happy and he actually enjoys every meal and every dessert. Good luck with the diet. on Long Island New York * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
Ener-G also makes a yeast free bread that I'm pretty sure is also CF/GF. We buy it at our local hfs. Pat in Ohio
Guest guest
Ener-G makes a yeast free bread, available at larger Health Food Stores. My son eats the white rice loaf and loves it, so it might be worth trying. You might want to toast it, though. These breads always taste better that way! > > On Sun, 20 May 2001 01:57:25 -0000 > rachel@... writes: > > Hi, > Are there ANY kind of yfree breads available? > > .
