Thanks for writing, ,

I've called my insurance...the AMA..the Mi State Medical

Society...and have a number for Doctors of Osteopath (he should be

lisenced with them.) I plan to write a letter...or file a

grievance...if appropriate.

He says I have all tests... " everything " . THere was a bone scan

too. I don't have that.

This doc is on the " considering for Top Doc list " . He suggested a

lot of new scary possibilities he wanted to test for. Some of them

look worth checking, but not with a doc that basically won't

communicate with me.

My husband's observation was that I was " steamrolled " . When I spoke

of the report for my doc, he manuvered the conversation away from

that topic and didn't answer my question. Our " follow up "

appointment was a lecture, not a conversation.

I have no idea how he would treat Graves' disease.

I'm still sorting it all out. Asking the right question to the

right listener makes a difference in medical stuff. I'll see my GP

Wednesday.

There is so much going on for others, and this seems so little in

comparison. No matter how my Graves' Disease is " cured " , I'll be

communicating with doctors the rest of my life. I'm still learning

how to do that to my benefit and best health. I guess that is the

journey we are all on together.

Ever hopeful,

AJ

state to state. If your health insurance paid for this dr., they

will oblige him to report back to your GP. I would think you'd have

no problem in that case. Otherwise I wonder if you have to go

through your state medical board or attorney general.

a right to the results of all the tests he ran.

That's why we pay them!
