Guest guest
Hi, Having one autoimmune disorder puts you at risk for developing other autoimmune disorders. When your immune system is overactive and you have active autoimmune disease symptoms or allergies, this immune stimulation tends to induce or exacerbate other autoimmune disorders. Healing the immune system helps both conditions. Take care, Elaine
Guest guest
For those of you with more than one autoimmune disorder, do you find that Graves triggers the other disorder. I have Crohn's Disease, and I worry that the frequent bathroom visits are going to cause the Crohn's to act up. Just curious.
Guest guest
My large extended family is riddled with autoimmune disorders and we find that for those of us with more than one, they often flare in a cascading pattern or sometimes all at once. Stress seems to exacerbate these disorders, so when symptoms of any of the illnesses begin, we take strong measures to balance our lives. We get lots of rest, meditate, pay attention to our feelings, take supplements and do whatever else is necessary to balance our lives and get our immune systems quietened. Guest guest
Hi, I'm 54 and have developed asthma. I have been tested for allergies in the past, and they came up negative. I've always have non-allergic rhininitis, and sinus infections. Are they all related to Graves? Is asthma an autoimmune disorder? Thanks Marlene

I assume you haven't made any changes in your life, like buying a pet bird, etc. My father developed asthma in his early sixties after working for about ten years as a supervisor in a slaughtering house.
