Hi to all, I just foundout my daughter's school is using shaving cream for

o/t , any one know if this is okay??? what brands?? I am also still trying to

find a deodorant that is gfcf, I have checked the the list and poted this

question before but so far no answer. Should just pick a deodorant and start

calling until I find one???

Hi,

Unless your child eats the shaving cream, or is sensitive to chemicals you

should be ok. I would make behavior notes after using the shaving cream.

Personally, my daughter cannot use shaving cream, but, she is chemically

sensitive.

As far as deodorant, I use tea tree oil. It is a very effective bacteria

killer (which is what causes underarm odor). It also is all natural and you

do not need to worry about the chemical content. This can be found at any

health food store. They make deodorant specifically, but, I just buy a

small bottle of the liquid and dedicate it to underarm use. Check for skin

irritation after first use, some, but not many may get an irritation. If

so, just buy the deodorant stick (not as strong).
