Guest guest
Hi Ruthie, Right now I'm taking about 2 mg. a day, if that, half in the AM and half in the PM. I weaned down from 7.5 mg. slowly after I decided I had nothing to lose by taking people here's suggestions and dividing my dose into three parts, and spreading it out through the day. I immediately began to get better after a long haul of needing to take at least the 7.5 (well, I did wean down slowly from 12.5 a year ago, and I had ended up there after being in remission for a very, very short time-or thinking I was-and going hyper again). Right now if I take much more than the crumbs I ingest, I feel hypo. This despite my TSI just coming in at 97, and my tSH being back down to <.01. But my FT4 and FT3 are in the normal range, and I don't feel at all bad lately, at least thyroid-wise. Guest guest
Thank you for sharing....I am feeling better about the whole long term tiny dose idea. Endo mentioned low WBC and liver elevations as possible risks....but I think there are risks with everything so might as well give the Tap another go.
