Lori,

You got great advice from I., so I have little to add. Simply wanted

to say, don't be afraid of your doctor ( " I hate to think what he will

do... " ). What's he gonna do? If something sounds not right, or if he talks

badly to you, you go elsewhere. Like you said, he might only care about

your TSH, not your T3 and T4. You know that is not good for you or your

baby. And if that is so, it would probably be a good thing for you to find

another doc anyway.

When Dr. Nuclear wanted to fry my thyroid and tried to convince me any

which way to do it (using multiple tactics), I looked at him bewilderedly

(my expression must have said " are you crazy? " ). He dismissively said, " eh,

you're not yourself. " I said (to myself), " oh yes I am; I'm outta here. "
