Guest guest
Pat, Thanks so much for thinking of us. As we're feeding him right now, it's like he's on continuous feeds anyway. We're feeding him 70cc every hour. I know, it's crazy, but call me stubborn! I don't want that pump! That's just life for us right now. And if we were to use it, he would have to be able to take more than 70 an hour through the pump, which I doubt. I told the GI at the last appt. I would be willing to try it a few hours a day, but I'm not willing to try a J-tube. He's doing really well right now though. I'm giving him HMF powder, which is acidophilous and something else, and I added 5 cc cod liver oil a day. Can't wait for his next weight check. I couldn't make it to the convention this year, too much going on with my other son. but, me and my hubby are getting away today to Tahoe for three whole days, no kids, and, I'm not bringing my watch to check the hour!! Guest guest
We are back too.. I am not feeling good tody. I have had a migraine all day. According to Dr. H Liam is SGA not RSS, but I was able to talk to Dr. Stanhope and he thinks he is mild RSS. He said it is a tough call with him, but would say probably and suggested that he is just the type of child that should get the UPD7 test. The dentist feels that Liam (not the dentist at the convention, but the one here, we did not see the one at the convention) says that Liam has assemetry in the face and Jaw. Assemetry does not go along with SGA, does it? We had a GREAT time and hope to be able to go back next year. We may not be able to, as my sisters wedding is in NY on July 31 next year. Jed and I are in it so we have to be there about a week early.... Mom to Liam (3 1/2 years old 34 3/4 " 27 lbs SGA,RSS??? Hypothyriod, Epilepsy.) Started GHT 5/18/04 and Jed (11 years old) Tourettes, CAPD,SVT.
