Guest guest
, Storm had his out last summer! He was in a lot of pain the second and third days after, but then he was fine! He is so much healthier now! It was so worth it. (He used to have strep throat about 5 or 6 times a year!) Not last year! Only once all year! He ate about 4 popcycles right after surgery, then wanted to eat as soon as we got home! It was the 2 days after surgery that he didn't want to eat! Thank God for tylenol with codeine! Make sure and get a prescription for a pain med BEFORE surgery, get it filled so it is ready as soon as you get home! We'll be praying for it to all go well! Blessings, Carmen, mom to Storm, age 9 on the 28th,

Guest guest
Hi , had a partial tonsilectomy and adenoidectomy in June 2003. Per Dr H, she does not like to fully remove the tonsils and adenoids because afterwards, with RSS children there is too much air leaking through. Since we live in NY, we used a doctor that has worked with her before to do the surgery. has does really well since then. Eating wasn't really a problem since is partially tube fed. We just upped his feed through the tube to make up for the calories he wasn't eating. He was back to himself in 2day.
