Guest guest
Hello - I wanted to weigh in on this one for anyone considering RAI. I'm 5-years post RAI and just underwent a flare up of graves' ophthalmology in the past few months. I was treated with a short- term Medrol dose pack, and it did improve the symptoms; however, I was shocked to find that my TSI was elevated after being normal for a couple of years. My ophthalmologist did warn me that the steroids might only work while I was actually taking them, fortunately for me, this was not the case. I'm hoping this is the last time I have to experience this problem. aka HipCzech
