Guest guest
Joyce Try not to use soap if you don't have to . It just makes the eczema worse.. I have my son take baths with plain water and epsom salts unless he needs to shampoo. kelly

He had it bad on his entire legs and just moderately on his arms. Also , no more then every other night, and to use Dove soap. Can't help you on the Bubble bath as I never used that as I heard it can cause infections in girls and with LJ he isn't circumcised and I was told to avoid bubble baths with him too when he was an infant cause of his foreskin. For his baths I only used Dove soap too back then. on Long Island New York * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
Thanks so much for the info. Isn't it funny how much doctors vary on opinions. My doctor said to give him a bath every night because the moisture from the water was good for the eczema but like your dr. he did only recommend Dove. This group however, is so informed about so many things that my dr. never told me, I thought maybe someone had a great substitute for bubble bath. For example, on another list there was a recipe that only called for baking soda, cornstarch and cream of tarter but it didn't make any bubbles for me. I had been using the Aveeno mild cleanser for babies but the Allergist said not to. Thanks again . Guest guest
I don't know how it is for eczema, but we use GFCF baby bath to make bubbles. It doesn't make a lot, but it's a safe substitute. ===== Visit www.open-invitation.net/andrea to shop the newest product line from House of Lloyd! __________________________________________________
