Guest guest
I did the Epsom Salt bath last night for the first time. I usually give my 1 & 3 yo sons a bath at the same time but my 1 yo (NT) cried when he got in the water and was holding his genital area. Do you think the ES was too much for him? Also the 1 yo constantly cried and moaned in his sleep last night. Do you think he's in the small percentage that it's not good for or is he too young? Also when shampooing is it ok if the ES water gets in their eyes. - does the ES bath seem to help your sons' eczema? Joyce > Joyce > Try not to use soap if you don't have to . Guest guest
Joyce Not sure about your question with the 1 year old.. I don't have any trouble with the baths and he does well with them.. If you have any open wounds or rashes it might sting though depending on how much you use.. That might be why . My sons eczema is better without soap. I wash his hair in the water with the epsom salts. and try not to get it into his eyes. I don't use fabric softner and use a dye free detergent.. When his skin is bad I will rinse laundry twice .. I don't use any fragrences or powders.. It doesn't really matter to me cause I am not one for perfumes and stuff with names I can't pronounce.. I have used a little creme from the doc and that helps the itching.. His has been really good lately.. I started adding in some safflower oil and that seemed to help.. kelly
