Finally - DVD/VHS of MAGIC Convention Presentations

Hello everyone -

If you are a member of MAGIC, you will receive a letter and order

form in the mail in about a week or so. However, since so many

folks on this listserve are not yet members of MAGIC's RSS/SGA

division, I wanted to post the good news here.

We are finally ready to begin taking orders for the tapes of the 4

presentations given at last July's MAGIC convention. The

videographer has worked very hard on these. The audio is AWESOME --

you can hear every word. Visual is very good -- he had to do some

split screens so you can see both the screen/PowerPoint and the

speaker. At times, the type on the PowerPoint is so small that it

isn't readable on the tape, but the speaker usually reads it outloud

anyway.

I have to tell you I loved watching the tapes again. I can't

believe how much I missed the first time!!! And our geneticist

wants a copy of all of them, and our pediatrician as well (free

copies for physicians).

We have worked hard to come up with a way to provide these as

cheaply as possible. Outside sources wanted $20 or more per DVD or

VHS. Thanks to Joe Jovanovich, who will be doing all our

duplicating, here is the information:

PRICING:

For MAGIC Members:

First Copies: $35 for all 4 tapes or $10 per individual tape. You

choose DVD or VHS

For Non-Members:

First Copies: $55 for all 4 tapes or $15 per individual tape. You

choose DVD or VHS

Additional Copies (Non-Members would now pay less by becoming a

member):

$24 for all 4 tapes or $7 per individual tape. DVD or VHS

SHIPPING CHARGES:

$1 for each DVD tape ($4 for set) or $2.50 for each VHS tape ($10

for set)

FREE COPIES FOR PHYSICIANS:

Any physician can order a copy of any presentation and it will be

shipped FREE to the physician. Simply call 800-3MAGIC3.

MAGIC LIBRARY COPIES: Yeah!!!

We will have several loaner copies of each presentation that members

can check out for 3 weeks. Our division will pay for outbound

shipping, you pay shipping back. If not returned on time or lost,

you pay the regular member price.
