Guest guest
Sabina I've had this problem with my kids. is 18 now, stands 5' 5 " and weighs about 250#. Kaity is almost 15, stands 5' 4.5 " , and barely weighs 100# soaking wet!!! I've always tried to keep things kind of the same for both of them. If they were having say yogurt for snack. not the non-fat variety, well Kaity got the higher calorie kind. I did the same with ice cream. I would buy the same type (ex - fudge ripple) but one would be high fat/high calorie, and the other would be the " normal " (ie cheaper) calorie type. Whenever " low calorie " type snack foods came out, I would stock those for and the regular variety for Kaity. This way could have the " same " type of snack foods that Kaity got, but not the same amount of fats and calories. It really became a challenge when we added my son's milk allergy into the equation!
