Guest guest
Thank's! We are receiving the Feat email already. I've looked at the SSI website before, & to my understanding we don't qualify for that because hubby is making a good living. Just today, we drove an hr each way to see a place that would do an in-home ABA therapy for . They will finalizre everything & put them in writing, sort of a contract. Then start coming to our house 3x a week, 1 hr each time to start. They're going to have to look for someone who will be willing to travel. SO, we're going to wait & see if someone can do that. It's just too much for me to drive that long several times a week & to add to that, being 5 mos. pregnant. They charge $50/hr & an additional $30/week for the traveling the therapist have to do. It's a lot of money but we have to do it for . They will not agree to pay for this. This could start in 2 weeks then end if he gets used to the full day school program. If he doesn't get used to the school then we will have to keep him on this in-home therapy for a while. yhen > I forgot about this: > You can put yourself on the FEAT list, and they have lists of > therapists-or tutors-that are available to all members. Also, if you > get DSHS or SSI or other fundings, they will get pay through that. > FEAT is <www.feat.org/> > Also ASA should be able to help. Did you check yet? > Good luck.
