Guest guest
I just started seeing a new endo in Minneapolis and just got my labs back: TSH: less than .01 (normal .4-5.5) T4 Free: 2.4 (normal .8-1.8) He also did some liver checks (?), which I've never had done before and don't exactly remember what they mean: Liver: 52 (normal 2-35) ALC: 48 (normal 2-40) Even though I was diagnosed with Graves' seven years ago (off meds for the past two years, however), he won't start me on meds again until he does a thyroid uptake/scan, which I won't get the results from for two weeks. I've read that the uptake/scan really won't show anything that the blood work can't. Does it make sense for him to wait instead of starting me on treatment again?
