Guest guest
The stage before puberty is called adrenarche. It is where androgens are changed into estrogen, and can cause bone age to advance rapidly. There are a ton of posts in the archives on this subject. Just use the key word adrenarche. Dr H is very into controlling adrenarche. I think the idea is that if you can suppress/control adrenarche, we might not have to get into suppressing puberty, a much harder process. Hope this helps Pat (g-ma to , RSS, 31 months, G-Tube)

Guest guest
well here i go- 1. i learned the importance of caloric catch up growth before starting ght (that is where we are at now with christopher) 2. i took back alot of info from the ADD lecture and even bought the 2 books to learn more about it (i am now more certain than ever that christopher has it(ADHD) and my oldest has ADD which i was once told was possible with both children) 3. i just thought it was great to get to talk to other people that knew what it was like to have an rss child face to face and not have to totally explain why your child looks and act the way they do i cant wait until next year and i agree if you can have another adult with you (i brought my mom) it is a big help!!! jodie - In RSS-Support , " millerkaitlyn " <BethHultquist@h...> wrote: > I was thinking those of us who went to convention could reply to > this message and just list 3-4 things that we learned at > convention.
