Guest guest
Hi Dave, I don't know of the doctor or clinic you heard about, but there is a in California who has the ithyroid.com site and he believes you can cure graves nutritionally - and it's true that most people with graves have some nutrition problems - in that our bodies are processing food so quickly we don't get time to absorb nutrients and many of us have so many food allergies that we are not really getting all the nutrition we need... I do think there is something to it all, but for me I needed more than just nutritional changes to get my graves under control. I was recently reading about some doc (I don't know where he's from) who says that he treats graves by prescribing cabbage juice and other nutritional changes -maybe he's the guy you heard about - cabbage is a goitrogen, and if you took enough of it, I'm sure it would work like an ATD to suppress the thyroid - yet I don't know that it has any effect on the antibodies. I was reading about him on the coconut oil board on yahoo. coconut-info Pam B. http://www.webmosaics.com -- Re: Digest Number 2004 HI all I was recently talking to a PA and she mentioned hearing of a clinic in California that was run by docotr who has had very good success treating Graves completely nutritionally.Has anyone heard anything about this? Thanks Dave
