Guest guest
Sorry to say but four weeks is not enough time to see a difference. Some children take 4-6 months to see a difference. Many people in my support group have kids who are severely autistic and the changes are slower. Each child reacts different to medications, food, etc. and you need to give it a little bit more time. Keep up the good work and don't give up you are doing a great job. Sharon
Guest guest
Hi, I am new to this group and relatively new to this diet. I have 4 children and three with autisim. Recently (4 weeks) I put all of the kids on GF/CF diets. This has been an interesting challenge, to say the least!!!! Although I have seen a difference in 2 (one autistic 5 year old, one typical 5 year old), we have not seen any changes in our most severe autistic son (he is 7 and extremly picky about his food). I am confident in the fact that he does not have any hidden sources of Gluten or Casein in his diet (as well as any of the other children). I guess my question is this: does anyone have children that do not respond to this diet?

I believe he has reacted to peanuts. > >
