Guest guest
Hi Shelly, I was one that started on TAP =(MMI) and then I switched for the same reason incase I get pregnant. I experienced no problems whatsover thats just me I'm sure others may tell you different. So I'm not a good one to explain what types of problems you may or may not have since for me it was an easy switch. I am able to tolerate both of them. The only thing I can think of is that you may not be able to tolerate the PTU. Some can tolerate only one ATD and not both. I am blessed I suppose because I can take both. So I would watch for all the usual signs when first starting to take the med. Alegra (sorry can't be of more help)
Guest guest
Hi Shelly, I'm glad you asked the question because I was going to too. I was just waiting for the result of my labs before asking my endo if I could make the switch for the same reason. I'll let you know what he tells me if I don't see someone else posting the same response. Good luck. > I'm thinking about switching from Tap (MMI) to PTU in the hopes of seeing > more eye improvement and perhaps to pursue prenancy.
