Guest guest
Hi all, Well I went for my appointment on Monday. I don't have my new lab numbers yet but so far the new endo thinks I'm doing well. She mentioned for the first time RAI and I said no, no way, not interested and there's no way it will ever happen. She smiled and said let me note that in your chart. I told her that no matter what, no matter what course this stupid disease takes I am personally not interested in ever having my thyroid killed off with radioactive iodine. I think she got the message loud and clear. I'm only on two PTU tablets per day. Lately I've been feeling sleepy and I hate when that happens. I think I feel better when I'm slightly hyper so I'm guessing my labs will be well within normal range. I'll post my labs when I get them. in MA, USA Diagnosed w/Graves, March 1997 Not Interested in RAI or Surgery. On lose dose of PTU (2 50 mg. per day) (was in remission for three years 2000-2003)
