Guest guest
Just another idea on how to give meds which may or may not be useful. I personally taste all meds I give to my or any other kids. Then I try and find a food which neutralizes it and mix the med in a tsp of the food. Yoghurt, choc pudding, hummus, meat paste and applesauce are pretty good at disguising bad tastes especially if the food is cold. However, if the med doesn't get adequately disguised and the kid hates the taste of the mix, he/she may go off of that food which can be disastrous for our kids. I've never had to give meds by mouth to Jillie as she has a GT. But I've given multiples of thousands of meds out in my lifetime to kids and it generally works well. Good luck,
