Guest guest
I was very happy to see recently messages about a bulk source of sorgum flour. I like getting things in bulk to have them on hand and lower costs and have found locally good rice, baby fava beans, garbanzo beans, soy beans and cornstarch in 25 lb lots (I grind flour). I buy yeast in 2 lb units etc., and my life has been so much easier this way. *But* my local sources have not been able to help me with large amounts of arrowroot, tapioca flour, or potato starch - all of which I would like to buy in 25 + pound amounts as my HFS is some distance away, not open on weekends and can't get packages > 5-7 pounds. Any ideas? Also as xanthan gum keep for about 2 years I would like to get in in larger than 6 oz bottles. A food supply place locally could order 25 lbs of the stuff at something over $300.00, but that was too much the other way. If you respond offline I will make a summary of the responses and post them for everybody. jan
