Day care at the convention

Some of you have mentioned whether you thought the day care situation was good

or bad

at the convention. This was my second year attending, and I thought they were

much

more thorough last year. One time when my husband went to pick up the kids, I

was on

my cell phone in the hallway. Another child that my son was playing with came

out too,

and my husband couldn't get him to go back into the day care room. Finally,

when I was

off the phone, I got him back in there, but he was out in the hallway for about

5 minutes

and nobody said anything. I didn't say anything to anbody either except the mom

of the

child. Also, on Saturday afternoon, when we picked up the kids, there was only

1 girl out

front & she was busy looking for some paperwork, so parents, including myself

were just

going in to get the kids without her looking at the signature & picture on the

forms. While

I didn't really have a concern that another parent would come in and take my

kid, I did

worry about what would happen if my kid went out in the hallway by himself as

another

child did. Also, my son, has been coughing for several days, but I don't think

he got sick

from being in day care, as I got pretty sick in Chicago too, and still fighting

this cold!
