Guest guest
Well, to make a long story short I told her I wasn't too sure about RAI and she said, " Well you did want babies didn't you? " I said yes...so then she says, " Well lets just keep you on PTU and when you get your levels straightened out you should just go ahead and have your babies and get it over with then perhaps we can do the RAI. " So they drew more blood and told me to come back in 6 weeks. She told me to see my primary care doctor to be put on anti depressants and to go ahead and see an OBGYN for a preconception checkup and to get his opinion. Wow. It is kind of odd going from thinking it could be years before I would even get to think about having a baby to them now saying to go ahead and do it soon. So, do you all think this is the best plan? It is safe to take PTU and be pregnant, but not to breastfeed right? I would hate to not be able to breastfeed, but given the options...what do you all think? Thanks for listening again.
